Our Wake Gastro team kicked off summer by giving back to the community! They donated blood to Rex Healthcare’s annual blood drive, Save Our Summer. Donations typically decline during the summer months since school is out and vacations have begun. According to the American Association of Blood Banks, 41,000 units are needed every day in the U.S. for patients. All blood types are needed, especially O Positive and O Negative.
